From stories to mini games, and chessercises, your child will fall in love with chess by learning through our unique story-based curriculum designed to captivate any young mind. Our approach revolves around an incredible cast of characters that correspond to a chess piece, enabling children to learn the unique moves of each piece on the chessboard. As your child follows the exciting journey of these characters, they will not only become successful chess players but also explore the fundamentals of math, strategy, and sportsmanship.

Our programme is more than just learning how to play chess. We also aim to ignite your child’s creativity and problem-solving skills through our educational role-playing game, Birchguard Quest. With this game, your child will have the opportunity to develop their cognitive abilities, enhance their problem-solving skills, and foster their creativity.Not only does this enhance their chess game, but it also supports our students’ gaining interpersonal relationship and communications skills, engaging through new social environments, and learning how to work as a team.

​Chess at Three is an international network of storytellers (chess tutors) who introduce chess to children from the surprising age of three. By harnessing the power of stories, Chess at Three’s award-winning curriculum has been taught to over 150,000 children in homes, schools, and online. Children become successful chess players while also
exploring the foundations of maths, strategy and sportsmanship as they journey with a unique cast of characters on an exciting narrative adventure.
