Embark on an exciting journey exploring how to play the violin this winter! It will be a great chance to show off your skill to your families. This camp will start off with introducing the violin and string family. Your child will learn the different pulses and rhythms and learn to feel the beat. It’s going to be so much fun learning how to play your first tune and perform in the class!

Instructors

Ms. Siti Adliana Supiani

Ms. Siti Adliana Supiani started learning the violin at the age of 11 under the tutelage of Suzuki Teacher Trainer Mr Kang Choon Sim at Suzuki Music Centre (Singapore) in 1992. She was also a violinist with Orchestra Melayu Singapura (OMS) for 26 years, represented Singapore for a cultural exchange program to Kagoshima (1997, 2001) and has been teaching violin for 17 years. Siti holds a Bachelor Degree in Music Education (Merit) from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and Diploma in Special Education (Credit) from National Institute of Education – Nanyang Technological University (NIE-NTU). Siti believes that every child is unique and every learning journey contributes to the development of a child as a whole. She embraces the Suzuki philosophy that everyone can learn to play an instrument when provided with the right environment.
