Step into the fascinating world of flight! In this exciting programme, participants will journey back in time to explore the earliest pioneers of the skies — from the mighty Pterosaurs and Quetzalcoatlus to the evolution of the birds we see today. Along the way, students will discover how nature inspired humans to dream of flight and the incredible risks early inventors took to make aviation a reality.
Campers will also learn the science behind flight, exploring how aircraft stay in the air, the forces that act on them, and how different mediums affect movement through the sky.
And what would an aviation programme be without drone flying? Participants will take part in both drone theory and hands-on flying sessions, learning the fundamentals of operating mini drones safely and confidently.
To further enhance the learning experience, technology plays a key role in this programme. Participants will have the opportunity to experience “flying” through Flight and Drone Simulators, challenge themselves with interactive online quizzes, and reinforce their understanding through educational aviation videos and other engaging digital learning tools.
All lessons are designed to be bite-sized, interactive, and experiential, staying true to the STEM learning approach, where students learn by building, experimenting, and discovering.
