This camp will be run by Rhonda Ong, XWA teacher along with external vendors.
Ms Ong is the Early Years and Primary Years PE teacher at XCL World Academy. She has experience teaching students from Kindergarten right through to high school level. Ms Ong previously taught in Japan as a homeroom teacher for Grade 3 and 4 students and was an EAL teacher for upper grade students . She was also a summer school teacher who provided several outdoor learning experiences for all age groups. Ms Ong has traveled extensively around the world and embarked on many nature hikes. Her favourite hobbies are swimming, running, hiking, surfing, skiing, scuba diving and reading.
Ms Ong believes that nature is the best tool for experiential learning. It also helps to nurture one’s mind, body and soul.
