An Aviation programme that cates to the inquisitive minds of budding aviators from the concepts of flying an aircraft to drones and even the future of air travel. Your child will cover science of flight through a well-developed pioneering STEM – Science Technology Engineering Mathematics methodology.

Participants will begin with turning back the hands of time where the first flight took place – EONs ago, in a land of the great Pterosaurs, Quetzalcoatlus and Raptors and how evolution played a part in the story of the bird we have today. Next participants will learn the risk humans took to achieve flight and what we have accomplished today.

What’s more? In this programme your child will learn the science of flight, effect of the medium and the forces that aircraft is in.

What is an aviation programme without drone flying? Yes! several drone theory/practical lessons have been seamlessly included for our programme too.

All lessons are byte sized and will be experiential in nature – staying true to the STEM methodology. Practical activities will include:

  • Kite/twirler flying
  • Pressure rocket
  • Parachute throwing
  • Various paper plane folding
  • Magnus glider building
  • Mini drone flying

Students will be given an aviation kit with all the materials which they will be able to bring home!

To value add to the lessons, technology will play a large part in this programme’s mode of instruction. Participants will experience ‘flying’ in a Flight and Drone Simulator, challenge themselves to online quizzes, strengthen their learnt concepts through educational aviation videos to name a few.

Lessons will begin with the origins of flight – literally – Participants will play the role of anthropologists’ as they uncover the beginning of flight, from the first insects to the mighty Pterosaurs and to the evolution of birds.

Students will learn the about the pioneers of flight from its historical beginnings to well into the 19th century and the reasons of these pioneers’ success to take flight and some not so successful ones. Here the participants will play the role as apprentice aeronautical engineers.

Your child will learn the details of flight science – the physics behind it. These lessons can be considered as a precursor to the lessons taught in the school as they are closely developed to marry the school’s syllabi. Concepts like forces, vectors, endurance and time calculation are just some aspects that will be taught.

The participants will put all the knowledge that they have acquired by building a glider and eventually test out their design and hypothesize through various means – graphical and scientific analysis.

What is an aviation programme without flying a drone? These Hawks will also be introduced to drone piloting and also its future.

In total, 6500 and growing participants have acquired top of the line aviation and aerospace knowledge provided by dedicated Aviation Instructors, Pilots, and School Educators. Our programme is unique and pioneering as it integrates Science concepts taught in schools with Aviation and Flying ‘things’ (Which is always the ‘AWE’ of every child as far back as we can remember).

What makes our programme more than unique is that REAL experienced line pilots or pilot instructors with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 25 years will be teaching the programme. Thus, your child’s quest for aviation knowledge will be able to undoubtedly be fully satisfied.
